Reduction in Subs

I know it’s been a crazy time but congratulations on Level 1 and with it a Reduction in subs for Tawa. We all welcome the freedom that it brings within our borders and it’s super exciting to be back playing football. It was great to see people in the club again with seniors last week. Season is almost here

It’s almost time for football! First games kick of this weekend for youth and seniors. It has been long awaited and I know everyone is eager to strap on the shinnies play some footy. With the relaxing of the mass gathering we do have some COVID19 commitments:

  • Sanitise your hands before and after training
  • Sanitise your hands before and after games
  • Contact tracing for spectators via iDMe
  • Maintain social distancing where possible

Lets play football again!

The long wait is almost over! Aunty Cindy and Daddy Bloomfield announced that we can play football again! With mass gathering restrictions will be raised to 100, Capital Football have confirmed the 2020 season is finally kicking off.

It’s now time to clean off your boots, go for a run (or in my case casual walk) and make sure you are registered in Comet.  See our registrations page of seniors & juniors

Key dates –

  • From midday 29th May – your team can train together again in groups larger than 10 (talk to your manager, coach or grade coordinator for specific details relating to your team)
  • 6th/7th June – Senior and Youth seasons kick off
  • 13th June – Junior season kicks off
