Update on MyCOMET logins – message from Capital Football:
As you may be aware some members have not received their individual MyComet usernames and passwords from NZ Football. Capital Football has made the request to NZ Football to resend emails to all members active in Capital Football clubs, which will be sent tomorrow (Saturday 3rd).
In addition to this email, Capital Football has opened a ‘help-desk’ to support the members of our federation with their profiles. The ‘help-desk’ will be available via the email email@example.com for members to email in and request their MyComet login details.
This support package is in place to take the workload off club administrators answering individual queries from their members who can’t access MyComet to register for the season.
As a federation we are confident that this system is going to be a huge success going forward and make the administration of football easier for all. Thanks for your support to date – we’re looking forward to reaping the benefits long-term with everyone!
Capital Football will continue to update clubs with information when it comes to hand.
The Registration system (MyCOMET) is now open for all Junior and Senior Registrations.
Please use your NZ Football issued username and password to access your MyCOMET account. To register you need to purchase a product appropriate to the level (Senior / Junior – grade) of football the player is at or aged. For more information please refer to the registration pages under Seniors or Juniors.
Junior Club Captain (Kathryn Henshaw) with the newly installed AED
As a result of successfully re-certifying for the NZ Football Qualmark standard, Tawa AFC received a new AED (automated external defibrillator). The Club sought grant funding for an external case and last month (August) in-conjunction with the Wellington City Council installed the AED at its Clubrooms at Redwood Park.
The AED has been installed in a locked cabinet outside the Clubrooms and is available 24/7 for use by any person in the community needing an AED when someone is suffering a cardiac arrest.
To open the cabinet and retrieve the AED, call 111 – Ambulance for the access code.
To see where other AED’s are located in your area, download the AED locator app to your phone.
To purchase the Tawa Football kit (shorts, socks, boots, shin guards, beanies) please visit ‘Football Central’, either in person or online. Their shop is located in the ‘Top of Tory complex’, Tory Street, Wellington (the other side of the carpark from The Warehouse). The online shop is available here. Playing tops are provided by the Club for the season and returned once the season finishes.
Football Central does not sell the official Tawa Hoodie, to purchase these please email the Club, click here.
