Welcome to Tawa Football Club

Tawa AFC is a football club located in the Wellington suburb of Tawa and affiliated to Capital Football, a federation member of New Zealand Football.

The club has both a 'Seniors' and 'Juniors' focus.  Our Senior club runs Mens and Womens teams from Under 17 through to Masters.

Tawa Junior Football looks after the junior side of the club for both boys and girls.  We offer a First Kicks programme for 4-6 year olds, Fun Football for 7-8 year olds, Mini Football for 9-12 year olds, Youth Football for 13-14 year olds and Girls Only leagues for girls aged 6-15.

We have heard from a couple of families they are having trouble registering when using an iPad however it was ok when they changed to a PC or laptop.

Because of the games at Westpac Stadium on Saturday 26th July there are no senior matches scheduled.

However the Tawa Central League team is playing Western Suburbs at Redwood on Sunday 27th July at 2.30pm (ground conditions permitting). Come and support the team . Clubrooms will be open.

The Women's 1 will also be playing at 1pm at Onepoto 1 against Upper Hutt, so give then some support also.

Many current and past Tawa members were shocked by the news that Rob Ayley, the son of ex  Masters Blues player  John Ayley, was the one of the casualties of the terrible Malaysian Airline flight 17 disaster.

The club extends its deepest sympathy to  John, his wife Wendie and Rob’s wife Sharlene and children.

It is intended to observe Rob’s death on Saturday 2nd August at the club and we will taking a collection for Rob’s family. Hopefully as many members as possible will join us.
